Powerful and Hope Filled Biblical Epic
“Tales of Forever is a deeply reflective and thought provoking work that explores one of the most profound promises in Scripture. From the very beginning, the book carries a sense of weight and purpose, inviting readers to look beyond surface level history and into the unfolding drama of God’s hidden hand at work across generations. What makes this book stand out is its focus on the primordial promise given in humanity’s earliest moments. The author carefully traces how this promise, though obscured and nearly forgotten, continued to shine through even the darkest chapters of history. The theme of light overcoming darkness runs strongly throughout the narrative, giving the book both depth and hope. The writing feels intentional and analytical, yet still reverent. It challenges the reader to think carefully about biblical history and divine revelation, while also stirring a sense of wonder at how intricately the story unfolds. This is not a light devotional read. It requires attention and reflection, but it rewards those willing to engage. If you enjoy theological exploration, biblical analysis, and big picture views of redemption history, this book offers a rich and meaningful experience. It reminds us that no matter how hidden truth may seem, God’s promise endures.”
Feeds the hungry heart like no other!
“This book feeds the hungry heart like no other. It connects the dots where they have needed to be connected for thousands of years. This author has a grasp of biblical history that puts him in the company of the great biblical scholars of hundreds of years ago. This book confirms God’s faithful promises and diminishes the doubt and confusion that for so long has plagued humanity.”
Outstanding!
“This book uniquely aligns the many, detailed, and annotated facts of biblical history thoroughly researched by the author. The writing style is easy to understand and read, and the dialogues included are masterfully executed, keeping the reader enthralled. This book is truly difficult to put down. The timelines of history and the connections between significant events provide a new perspective thoroughly corroborated, without unsubstantiated opinion, leaving the readers to form their individual opinions. I wholeheartedly recommend it.”

“Smith makes you feel like a detective, piecing together clues from lost texts and artifacts like The Ark of the Covenant, and instead of proving facts in the scientific sense, he wants the reader to reimagine, to see God’s hand even where the official story lost the thread…”

Written very well and I enjoy reading it
“It is very helpful in study of the Scriptures and it has been very informative. I am learning a lot. I appreciate the amount of scholarly work this must have been for the author and I am very impressed with his care to details and being sure to let me know what books he used his information from, and how it applies to the Scriptures as well. I may have to read it again because it is so jam packed with little details, I can hardly take it all in. But it is written very well, and I enjoy reading it.”
Amazing!!
“I very highly recommend this book. Truly this book has taken me on a transformative journey that has both healed and drawn me closer in a deeper more fulfilling relationship with God. This book is truly a masterpiece. Thank you to the author and thank you to the people who left reviews which helped me make the decision to buy it. And of course thank you to all the scribes of our past and those who held tightly to the ‘almost lost’ scripts that we so need to help put the truth of our past together.”
Loved this book though it is scholarly written
“I plowed through it slowly as I meditated on the gems I found throughout. I had to stop and think about so much I was taught. Did this fit into my current knowledge. At every step I found it did and added to what I thought I knew. It is well worth reading with an open mind. If you do, you will be changed forever as to how God is faithful and in charge of this world. Even more that He set this world up so that we would learn to trust in Him to lead us. Since he knows us as well as this world He created, He will lead us if we allow Him, to our destiny, our mission in this seemingly complicated tapestry He wove.”
Tremendous!!!
“This one of the most enjoyable books I ever read. The book kept my interest throughout and I find myself referring back to it already. It truly is 3 books in one, each unique in its own way. Books 1 and 3 will give you much knowledge and some very interesting insights. Book 2 you will read a couple of stories from apocryphal books. Some you may be familiar with while others you may have never even known existed. The way Kent tells these stories is very different from what you are used to but are written so that they are interesting and very easy to understand.”

Understanding faith
“Whew. This is not a light read—it’s for the deep thinkers. Tales of Forever really challenges the idea that history is random and instead shows how God’s hand may have been moving the whole time. It’s analytical, bold, and faith-centered without dumbing anything down. You might not agree with every point, but you will walk away thinking differently. If you like connecting spiritual insight with real historical events, this one is worth the read.”
A must-read for all devout believers!
“People everywhere should take note of what this book has to say and offer to the spiritually and theologically deprived. In addition to having all events, timetables and characters meticulously documented for the benefit of scholars, the author has written the passages and chapters in such a way as to engage and intrigue a mainstream audience as well. In the years to come, I believe that Tales of Forever will be recognized as a true and genuine game changer in regards to the historical significance and interpretation of The Bible and in the understanding of religious world culture. Definitely a must-read for all devout believers!”
Stimulating thoughts
“Wow. Tales of Forever has showed me some unique facts of God’s design hidden in history for all to see. The author has brilliantly displayed all of this in his book. I have also shared this book with a few friends. Besides stimulating very interesting conversations with them about God’s control and faithfulness, we all marvel at how the book demonstrates His design hidden in plain sight. I would highly recommend this to anyone who cares to investigate such matters.”

It’s hidden in plain sight, folks!
“My view may be a bit biased, since I spent so much time working with Kent on this and other projects, during the ‘80s and ‘90s. His research is impeccable, the writing is free flowing and the subject matter completely enthralling. This book is for the thinking person who REALLY wants something to think about.”
Amazing
“So well written for all the information it contains. I’m walking away from reading this with a better understanding of those who question faith as well and those who are inspired to promote it.”
Prophecies Modern Christians Know NOTHING About
“I have studied in 4 different seminaries and much of the material contained within Tales of Forever was never covered or discussed. Several years ago, the Lord began to lead me down the proverbial rabbit hole. I realized that the ‘version’ of biblical History and Church History I had been given was far different from the one the documents of Second Temple Judaism, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the early Church reveal. What did the Rabbis do to The Old Testament Canon in the late first and early second century when they ‘canonized’ the Hebrew Bible? Why were so many books ignored and/or left out? Why did The Septuagint (LXX) have different Old Testament books than the Masoretic Text (MT)? W. Kent Smith’s book picks up these themes and digs even deeper. I knew earlier Jews had had a broader Canon of Scripture than the Rabbis settled upon at Jamnia, but in many cases, I didn’t realize how important these books were/are to understanding many of our well-known Bible stories. In the same way that Enoch 1 serves as an extensive commentary on Genesis 6:1-4, so too are other so-called apocryphal books as they shed light onto aspects of Adam and Eve’s narrative and Abraham and Isaac’s. God has preserved many things for His people to understand His purposes and to see His fingerprints on history. This book and the ones that follow (which I am currently reading) shed long-lost light (and some from ancient sources that have only recently been rediscovered) on our faith that the vast majority of modern Christians simply do not know anything about. In the years to come, movies will be made about these truths. In the meantime, get this book and the rest of the series. Your mind will be blown as you dig into truths that are hard to believe. For such a time as this…”
